To celebrate Veterans Day, Mark and I drove down to San Diego and went to the Veterans Museum. We had a blast exploring San Diego. It was nice Mark had the day off. The Museum was a real neat experience. There were men and women of all ages that served that were there. There was this one man there that served in World War II. He was crying looking at pictures of what he went through. He said it was the best time of his life. Now, I know that sounds weird. It did to me at first. But when he explain, he said it was a great honor to protect the country he loved so much. I wish there were more people like him in this country.
So I'm starting a new adventure in my life and I am very excited about it. Starting in January I am going back to school to hopefully someday become a nurse. I am little nervous to go back to school and have to take tests again but at the same time very excited. I have a wonderful boyfriend who is so supportive of everything I do. In 2009 it will be ten years now that I have been out of high school. Wow does time fly! I will be 28 soon and I feel as though my life is just starting to come together. A little later than I thought but like I always say "better late then never." So to sum it up, I feel very lucky and blessed. I have wonderful friends and family and I can't wait to see what 2009 has to bring!
