I can't believe it's March already! Time is flying by, but I am ok with that. Am I ever ready for Spring! Last night I drove back from visiting Mark in Wisconsin and got stuck in a winter storm. It took me 10 and a half hours to make it back to Traverse City, not my idea of a good time. I had pretty good roads until Big Rapids and what should normally take me 1 hour and 20 min took me 3 1/2 hours. Boy was I tired, I didn't get home until 12:30 am and then I got stuck trying to get in the driveway. So I woke up my parents and the three of us shoved my car out. IT took about 45 min, but we finally got it out!
That leads me to my other exciting news, well exciting for me. Friday I went to class and when I got out at noon Mark gave me a call and said that Micheal's (the company he work's for) wasn't flying him out until Sunday! They flew him in for just 2 days Wednesday-Friday and I didn't think I was going to be able to see him because of school. So when he said he was going to be there for 2 more days, I ran home, packed my things and I was off to Wisconsin. I was so excited the whole drive I was singing and dancing, I got a couple of funny looks. I hadn't seen Mark since Jan. 5th and that was only for a day so needless to say I was more than excited to see him, and it just happened to be his birthday weekend so that worked out great! I almost didn't know who he was at first, he has lost about 15 pounds. He looks great! He said he wanted to ring in 30 healthy, I thought that sounded like a great idea. :)
Mark and I had such a great weekend it was so much fun, and we also got to see our friends Shannon and Andy and their new little member of the family Rusty, a Jack Russell Terrier. Which I might add is rather cute! It was good to see them and hopefully some day Mark and I will move back to Madison so we will be able to see all of our friends more often.
I have been subbing at The Dance Center for the past couple of weeks and am enjoying it. It's nice to be dancing and teaching again. I will be teaching there this summer and this fall as well. I have just landed a job at Kmart, yay! When I was little I told my mom when I grew up I wanted to be cashier. haha, dreams really do come true! Ok so its not my dream job anymore but I am so excited to be working again. I know that sounds crazy but when you don't have an income, it kind of stinks. And I feel very blessed to just have job in Michigan's economy. So this summer I will be busy working and going to school, and hopefully getting a place of my own. So if anyone wants to come visit beautiful Traverse City this summer let me know!
