So this past week I went down to Texas to visit my sister. She's lived down there for 4 years now and I haven't had a free moment to go see her. Last Friday I flew down and was welcome by high 90's weather. Saying I was hot would be a understatement. We had a lot of fun! We drove up to San Antonio and explored the city. San Antonio is the prettiest, cleanest city I have ever been to. I would go back there in a heart beat.
We took one day and went to Mexico. 25 cents to get in 30 cents to get out...interesting. It was a real neat experience, but I do have to say I am glad to be an American. You don't realize how good you have it until you visit a place that doesn't have anything. There was puppies in cages all along the road for sale. They looked hungry and sad. It took me everything in my power not to buy a puppy. I wanted to take them all home. But they probably wouldn't have let me on the plane with 10 puppies.
The trip went really fast but it was a lot of fun!

Ok, so it took me about 15 min to get the guts to touch this starfish. I could never do fear factor or anything like that I realized..haha.
